Agiito launches live availability service for meetings


Travel management company Agiito has launched a live availability solution for meetings and events customers.

TMC, formerly known as Capita Travel and Events before becoming Agiito last year, now allows meeting bookers to log into its Meetingspro platform to view real-time venue rates and availability, then submit their request.

Agiito said he will be piloting this improved technology with a “significant” customer in the coming weeks.

The Meetingspro portal, which was initially built in-house by the TMC in 2017, is continuously developed based on customer feedback.

Caroline Medcalf, Director of Locations and Events Research at Agiito, said, “We are continually evolving the tool to stay current with the latest trends; bookers are empowered to make their own choices and we offer a fully tailored online experience for simple meetings.

“Most importantly, our Venue Finder Operations teams can use their expertise to provide offline, highly tactile and dedicated service for our more complex bookings.”

The TMC is already planning the next update to Meetingspro to include the ability to make instant reservations, which would allow users to see availability and then book meeting rooms online.
