Secrets of theft: The Best Trick to Pocket Airline Giveaways | Travel News | To travel

Airlines often offer a variety of benefits, but sometimes only the very savvy travelers know how to get the most out of them. These luxury benefits can range from free seat upgrades and flight class changes to in-flight meals or extra baggage. Still, for those who don’t travel often or don’t think too much about booking methods, they may be missing out. Today, experts at air passenger rights organization AirHelp, together with airport planner Annie Lindseth, shared their exclusive advice with Express.co.uk on how to make these air trips even more special.

A spokesperson for AirHelp said Express.co.uk travelers should learn from frequent travelers.

They said, “Regular business travelers know how to play the game.

“They pick their preferred airline, sign up for the alliance’s frequent flyer program and always book with that airline if possible, even if it’s not always the cheapest fare.

“They are committed to achieving prime ministerial status and reveling in significant benefits.”

Meanwhile, Annie said vacationers should think outside the box – even considering how they paid for their flights, to maximize the benefits.

Annie said, “You should be maximizing the amenities.

“A frequent flyer number is essential, but you can also consider credit cards that provide air points.

“Many of these cards offer airport lounge access, free checked baggage, and other convenient features.”

The Avios points system is a particular example.

It is especially popular with frequent travelers, who spend the rewards on a variety of air flights and luxury vacation extensions.

A trick to maximizing the benefits of Flight Points, and making them go further, has also been revealed.

Some airlines, such as British Airways, offer certain flyers special benefits, as well as easier ways to collect them, using an Avios credit card.

Avios points can be used to pay in full – and in part – flight costs.

Since taxes and fees represent a substantial portion of flight costs, travelers are advised to benefit more from their Avios points than they should be using to pay the actual price of the flight.

Avios has flight partnerships with four airlines – British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia, and Flybe – and all have different off-peak dates, meaning travelers need to check each one to find the cheapest flights on. which to spend their points on.
