UK-based serviced apartment agency Situ has integrated what3words location technology into its core platforms with the aim of helping clients find properties.
What3words assigns a unique combination of three words to each three-meter square around the world. For example, users who visit ///activism.tape.admits will find themselves in front of the famous London landmark Big Ben. Depending on the company, its three-word addresses can be a more accurate way to navigate to a specific location than a traditional mailing address.
Situ’s website and booking confirmations will display the property’s what3words address, which will direct travelers to the building’s main entrance. The company said it will work with providers and real estate operators to get the correct what3words address loaded for each location in its global network, which will cover more than 115 countries by the end of 2021.
