Members of the Trumbull County Travel Club ventured to Volant, Pa. For a “Spring Wine Crawl” with brewery and shopping included. Visiting the boutiques of Volant and the new Wendall August Forge, as well as a lunch at the Timbercreek Brewery completed the day which included three stops at three different wineries.
The next scheduled release will be Tuesday May 23. His destination is Jamestown, New York to visit Lucille Ball’s hometown. The included lunch will be at Tropicana, Ricky’s nightclub. Details and pricing can be obtained by calling the number listed below.

Our vacation to Charleston, Savannah and Beaufort left on April 24 with 40 members traveling south. In September, the club will go on a three-day mini adventure to visit the KRG in Kentucky. The ark took six years to be completed by Amish artisans and was modeled after specifications found in the Bible. In November, travelers will travel west to Branson for seven days. A stop in Saint-Louis will be made on the way back. Leaflets are available for these two trips, but places are limited.

The Trumbull County Travel Club is open to anyone over the age of 21. There is no membership fee. The club meets twice a year for planning and discussion sessions. Please call Peggy at 330-856-5398 for more information after April. To receive this information, you must send a stamped and self-addressed company-size envelope to the secretariat. The address can be obtained by calling the number mentioned.
